Painted with Europa and the Bull with attendant nymphs and cherubs in an Arcadian landscape within a square gilt cartouche, the claret ground reserved with medallions and richly gilt with scrolling foliage within concentric bands, the turquoise panelled border gilt with symmetrical scrolls and flowers and reserved with grisaille masks within panels, blue beehive mark, inscribed on the reverse in black The Rob the Europe (sic)
