A naked girl being brought by a slave vendor and a young man before a Roman emperor, a youth kneeling on a chair at their side, in an interior painted with an Egyptian mural and with statuary and other objects, signed, impressed KPM and sceptre mark, incised 2072 - 16½in., ebonised wood frame
