A PAIR OF METAL-MOUNTED SÈVRES-PATTERN TWO-HANDLED BLEU CELESTE VASES

Painted with Watteauesque secnes of lovers in idyllic gardens within moulded beaded oval cartouches flanked by ribbon-tied wreaths and gilt foliage-scrolls festooned with flowers, the reverses with pairs of birds flying above flowers within palm-frond and flower cartouches, the necks moulded with white lozenges flanked by two loop handles moulded with leaves and with pendant husk terminals, on domed and shaped square bases mounted in metal
