AN IMPERIAL CLOISONNE ENAMEL AND GILT-BRONZE CENSER AND COVER, raised on four bracket feet, the rectangular body decorated on a turquoise ground with panels depicting a lakescape with bridges, pavilions, flowering plants and trees all below birds and swirling clouds, the cover with pairs of kui dragons confronted around flaming pearls amongst cloud- and fire-scrolls below hexagonal cell-pattern on the flat top, surmounted by a gilt-bronze ingot-shaped finial containing conch shells, ingots and wheat-sheaves, the end panels set with pairs of animal-mask handles suspending loose rings supported by gilt-bronze Western Asiatic bearded figures wearing open flowing robes, pointed caps and jewelled necklaces (minor damage and restoration),
