TWO OBLONG TEA CADDIES
one by J. Carrenhoff, Amsterdam, 1812, also stamped Diemont, the other by L.N.S. van Voorst, Utrecht, circa 1825
The first on plain spreading oblong foot, the similar body tapering and with curved cover ingraved with initials and decorated with a band foliage to the rim, with key; the second on four ball feet, the plain tapering body with reeded upper and lower rim, the curved and raised cover with turned circular wooden finial - 11cm and 13cm high (520gr) (2)
