the larger with indistinct maker's mark, Moscow, 1847, assay master A. Kowalskii, the smaller with maker's mark AK, Moscow, 1838, assay master N. Dubrovin

The larger decorated on one side with a view of the statue of Minin and Pozharskii in Moscow, and with a weapon trophie on the other, both surrounded with foliage over a matted ground, the smaller decorated overall with flower filled arches and stylised motifs over wrigglework, and applied with an S-scroll handle - 8cm and 6.5cm high (166gr)
