the former by Nemirov-Kolodkin, Moscow, 1899-1908, assay master Ivan Lebedkin, the latter with maker's mark in Cyrillic V.N, Moscow, 1908-1917

The former decorated to the cover with shaded enamel scrolling foliage and flowers and bull-rushes and reserved a band of floral and stylised ornament, the latter cloisonné enamelled with vari-coloured stylised and floral ornaments in shades of blue, green, purple and red, and with beaded rims - the first 9cm long (2)
