The following 6 lots are works by John Rädecker, formerly in the collection of A.A.M. Grimmon (1884-1953), a lifelong friend of the artist. Grimmon was an architect by profession and worked for a long period for the community of Amsterdam. He was responsible for several important buildings, for example the Wilhelmina Gasthuis and Schiphol airport and in particular he was involved in designing the interiors and the colourschemes. He was one of the founders of the furniture factory Pastoe for which he designed several objects.
