Two other versions of the composition are known: the first, depicting Saint Peter in prison by Pieter Neeffs I and Frans Francken, signed by both artists, was in the Swiss art trade, 1956; the second, depicting the Liberation of Saint Peter, signed by Pieter Neeffs II, was in the collection of A. Tritsch, Vienna, in 1907 (photographs in the R.K.D., The Hague)
