A BERLIN PORCELAIN MOSAIKMALEREI DISH, gilt and painted in colours in trompe l'oeil in the Empire-style with a central roundel depicting antique ruins (Ruinenlandschaft), probably the thermae at the Villa Hadriana, Tivoli (aus der Hadriansvilla), surrounded by a red band decorated with Pietra Dura-style starshaped motifs, the flaring rim with a continuous band of neoclassical motifs (two minute white spots to the red band), marked with a blue sceptre under a horizontal stroke and beside a tiny red lozenge, (1803 - 1815)
