A DERBY BLUE-GROUND PART DESSERT-SERVICE painted in the manner of Daniel Lucas with views in England, Italy and Germany, named in iron-red script on the reverses, within gilt foliate and dot pattern cartouches, the dark-blue borders richly gilt with stylised foliage between gilt bands and beneath gadrooned borders enriched in gilding, comprising :
A shaped two-handled rectangular centre-dish
An oval two-handled sauce-tureen, cover and stand
Six shaped oval dishes in three sizes (one with star-crack to side)
Four shell-shaped dishes
Twenty-four plates (two with haircrack to rims, some gilding slightly rubbed)
Crown, crossed batons and D marks in iron-red, one plate with printed mark within a circle, Robt. Bloor & Co., circa 1825
