A GOLD-MOUNTED SCENT-BOTTLE AND STOPPER OF 'GIRL-IN-A-SWING' TYPE modelled as two scantily draped putti flanking a scroll-moulded fountain enriched in puce and applied with trailing fruiting-vine, one putto seated filling a cup with wine, the other standing working the pump handle behind, the stopper formed as the bust of a girl with fruiting-vine in her hair and wearing pink drapery, on a domed green base, the underside painted with a pink rose (slight chips to foliage), circa 1755
