Documentaion of the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain manufactory contains an order book for 1778 which includes about one dozen thimbles. A work list dated 1779 also refers to other thimbles. Examples are in the Museum of Decorative Art in Copenhagen and the the Royal Porcelain Factory's own collection
