bearing spurious 18th Century marks and also English import marks, late 19th/early 20th Century

On a domed circular foot chased with cherubs' masks and flowers, a frieze of flowers and foliage above, the tapering circular body engraved with swags of fruit and hounds and with two cartouches, one engraved with a monarch, the lower part of the body applied with stylised band of thorns - 22cm high (605gr)
