Leiden, maker's mark probably of Jan W. Vergouw, 1791, with later 19th century Dutch marks

Of oblong form, the cover and the base each engraved with a vignette within a circular cartouche surrounded by wriggle work and trellis work, one depicting three merchants on a quay, several ships in the distance, the other depicting two men admiring a large house - 14.25cm wide (235gr)
