Each decorated overall with rounded panels of birds and landscapes in various colours of liramakie and nashiji on a gold ground with pierced foliate-engraved lockplates and hinges, the two doors enclosing ten variously-sized drawers decorated with birds and buildings, the later ormolu-mounted japanned European stand with reeded edge above a central lambrequin tassel decorated with a vase of flowers and flanked by oval panels within foliate rectangular frames, the cabriole legs headed by pierced foliate clasps and on pierced feet, restorations, the mounts later-gilded and partially replaced
