A PAIR OF LOUIS XVI ORMOLU-MOUNTED BRONZE AND SPECKLED WHITE MARBLE FOUR-LIGHT CANDELABRA

Each with a Greek maiden with a fillet in her hair wearing slightly varying tunics, holding a spirally-fluted fruiting and floral urn issuing two scrolling double branches, terminating in stiff-leaf and floral nozzles with gadrooned circular drip-pans, on a canted square plinth and conforming pedestal with stepped cornice and base and fluted canted angles, the sides with rope-twist framed panels, the front with a panel of a pierced fan-motif at the top and base and with chevron bands with ball finials, centred by a later flower-head, above a stepped base
