A LOUIS XV ORMOLU-MOUNTED FRUITWOOD, AMARANTH AND PARQUETRY TABLE A ECRIRE attributed to Adrien Delorme

The zebra-striped veneer inlaid overall with foliate scrolls, the rectangular hinged top inlaid with arabesques and stylised floral ornaments, enclosing a quarter-veneered fitted interior with hinged red leather-lined writing-surface above a well, flanked by a removable tray with two silvered-copper inkwells, the waved apron with further arabesques, on cabriole legs with rockwork and foliate sabots, the sabots possibly later, restorations
