A RESTORATION SILVER-GILT TEAPOT

Oval vase-shaped, on spreading base chased with water-leaf rim, the lower part of the body chased with a band of laurel leaves and reeds, the upper part applied with two oval medallions of infant bacchanals on matted ground, the spout chased as a bird's head, the hinged cover with openwinged swan finial, engraved with monogram FM beneath English crest, with wood handle.
