TWO OCTAGONAL SILVER-GILT THISTLE-SHAPED CHARKI
assaymaster Anissim Kuzmin, and unknown workmaster's Cyrillic initials FMK, Moscow, circa 1745

Each on spreading circular foot, the base inset with a gold coin, one dated 1724 and the other 1728, the upper part engraved with alternate scroll and foliate decoration on stippled ground, with scroll handle.
