A SILVER AND PARCEL-GILT CHAMPLEVE TEA-SERVICE
marked Khlebnikov with the Imperial Warrant, Moscow, 1894

Of bullet shape with silver matted ground, each piece decorated with a band of geometric champlevé varicolour enamel design cartouche enclosing interlaced Cyrillic initials ARI, with fret-work foot and cone finial, comprising a tea kettle with stand and its burner, a teapot, a cream jug, a covered sugar bowl, a circular bowl, an oval bowl with swing handle, twelve tea spoons, a sugar sifter, the spoons and one bowl in its original fitted case stamped I. Khlebnikov.
