Comprising a teapot, the spout chased as an openwinged swan, the handle formed of two snakes, a soldered milk-jug, the handle shaped as an openwinged swan, a coffee pot with lion head spout nd wooden handle, the body applied with swans, a milk-jug applied with swan, a covered urn-shaped sugar-vase applied with masks, a sorbet cup and saucer both engraved with monogram LB within a cartouche in a lanscape.

Provenance
According to a family tradition, this set has been a gift from the Emperor Napoléon Ist to his step-daughter, Stéphanie de Beauharnais, daughter of the Empress Joséphine, who married in 1806 Karl-Friedrich Grand-Duke of Bade (1786-1806).
