etching, 1879-80, on antique laid paper, third (final) state, a very fine impression, printed with tone, trimmed as usual on the platemark by the artist and signed in pencil with the butterfly on the tab, a short repaired tear just above the tab, a small loss at the upper sheet edge, a short pencil stroke at the lower right corner, otherwise generally in good condition, backed with simili-Japan
