drypoint, 1894, on wove paper, second state (of four), very rare (Schiefler knew of only eight impressions in this state), a fine impression, rich with burr and printed with a light tone, signed in pen and brown ink, with wide margins, a short tear at the left sheet edge, a pale waterstain at the lower sheet edge, a few thin streaks of discolouration, two extending into the lower left corner of the subject, pale discolouration at the sheet edges, mounting tape at the reverse sheet edges, otherwise generally in good condition
