This lot represents medals presented to Bob Young Senior who was the Bolton Wanderers F.C. trainer (1919-1941) during the famous Cup wins of the 1920's. Born in Farnworth, where he lived most of his life, he was an excellent all round sportsman who was in his day classed as a Champion cricket ball thrower.
