A Dutch figured walnut longcase clock

Inlaid overall with later featherbanded lines, the waved moulded arched hood with later figural finials and pierced sound frets to the front and sides and with turned capitals, the arched trunk door with a glazed lenticle and a gilt-metal mount depicting Father Time, the plinth centred by a later fruitwood scallop within a later featherbanded oval, with keeled angles, on later ebonised bun feet, the brass dial with silvered Roman dial, the matted and engraved centre with subsidiary silvered seconds ring, day, month and date aperture and alarm disc, with a rolling moonphase to the arch and a silvered plaque inscribed Pieter Morijn/Amsterdam, the five pillar movement with anchor escapement and Dutch strike on two bells
