Tibeto-Chinese, 18th Century
The lama wearing short cropped hairstyle and layered robes with finely incised borders, seated on a carpet decorated with central foliate medallion and diapered borders with repeated patterns on the seat cushions; the figure of Rahula holding a crown dressed in patchwork robes with incised cloudscroll border and seated upon a rectangular plinth; both figures with sealed bases
