An early Victorian Scottish plain baluster shaped jug on spreading rim foot, the short spout chased with a Neptune mask, the domed cover with foliate baluster finial, cork screw thumb piece and angular handle, finely engraved with the arms of Murray-Threipland, by Robert Keay of Perth, hallmark Edinburgh, 1847, weight 32oz., 11in. (28cm) high.
