A George III two-handled vase-shaped cup and cover on spreading foot, the domed cover with ball finial and plain scroll handles, engraved with a wreath cartouche and Latin motto 'Pretium Victoribus', maker's mark probably that of Solomon Hougham, 1797, (14.5oz.), 10¼in. high.
