A late Victorian bracket clock, the movement striking on a carillon of eight bells and a coiled gong, the brass dial with silvered chapter ring flanked by putti head spandrels, the arch with slow/fast, chime/silent and Cambridge chimes/Westminster chimes subsidiary dials, in rosewood, simulated rosewood and brass inlaid case, the arched cornice surmounted by a stepped pediment centred by a pineapple finial, four turned finials to the angles, the frieze fitted with a glazed door flanked by Corinthian columns, on indented rectangular base bearing presentation plaque, ending in brass toupie feet; and a rosewood, simulated rosewood and brass inlaid wall bracket, 40½ins (103cms) high overall (2)
