A late Regency mahogany and boxwood inlaid longcase clock, the broken pediment above an arched and glazed hood enclosing a painted dial with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, inscribed indistinctly with the maker's name and Great Grimsby, the case fitted with an arched rectangular crossbanded trunk door inlaid with an oval shell medallion, flanked on either side by canted angles, the panelled base on bracket feet, 83ins (211cms) high
