A LIEGE SILVER-MOUNTED PERCUSSION BLUNDERBUSS with etched twist two-stage barrel strongly belled at the muzzle, octagonal breech inlaid with silver scrollwork and engraved silver vine leaves, shaped tang, lock and hammer decorated en suite (hammer repaired), walnut full stock (slight bruising), chequered grip, mounts cast and chased in relief with scrolling vine leaves against a stippled ground including small side-plate, butt-plate and trigger-guard, the last with stamped signature on the tang, engraved silver barrel-bolt escutcheons, silver sling mounts, and silver-tipped ramrod, signed C.
