Commander Frank Wild, RNVR, CBE, FRGS (1873-1939).
The original whole plate glass negative (cracked) is in the collection of the Royal Geographical Society, London. Hurley developed this rare large print for Wild from the cracked negative, as can be seen from Hurley's distinctive retouchings.
