A CHELSEA STRAWBERRY-LEAF SAUCEBOAT
Circa 1756

Of fluted leaf shape, the branch handle moulded with strawberries and applied with flowers, the interior painted with a loose bouquet and scattered flowers, the exterior with scattered flowers and moulded with a spray of flowering and fruiting strawberry issuing from four short feet, with chocolate-brown rim (glaze blemishes to two feet)
