A FRANKFURT BLUE AND WHITE QUATREFOIL JARDINIERE
Circa 1700

With blue loop handles, painted with Orientals among boulders, shrubs and grasses in an extensive wooded river landscape divided by four scantily draped figures astride a dolphin, the flat top rim with scrolls and flowerheads (one foot a wood replacement, the base and two sides cracked and riveted, extensive chips and flaking, one handle riveted)
