Painted with chinoiserie figures at various pursuits, at a table, before a steaming jar, on horseback holding a flag and promenading in a continuous landscape among shrubs, pine trees and rocks and below cloud scrolls, the shoulder with a band of interlocking scrollwork and meandering leaves and flowerheads and the lower section with a band of stiff leaves, the cover similarly decorated and with large knob finial (finial repaired, chip to footrim, minor chips to top rim and chips to rim of cover)
