A KELSTERBACH SMALL PLATE AND A FLUTED PLATE
Circa 1780 and circa 1770

The first painted in manganese, yellow and green with a house among grasses, the border with scattered flower and foliage-sprays (rim restoration between 1 and 2 o'clock and associated crack), manganese CH mark, 6 1/4in. (16cm.) diam.; the fluted plate painted in puce camaieu with a stylised daffodil within a border of interlocking scroll and zig-zag ornament (cracked across one side and repaired, rim chips), 8 3/4in. (22cm.) diam.
