A SAFAVID MOULDED MONOCHROME LAVENDER BLUE GLAZED BOTTLE
PERSIA, EARLY 17TH CENTURY

With two flat arched sides rising from the flat base and linked by melon-lobed bands, the central band rising to a tubular mouth, each of the flat sides moulded under the glaze with a vase rising from arabesques and issuing floral sprays which in turn encircle a cusped medallion, slight chipping to mouth and foot, otherwise intact
