The shaded charcoal-grey and indigo field scattered with a dense profusion of floral motifs, hooked lozenges and animals around a column of three ivory stepped lozenges divided by hooked panels all containing flowerhead lattices, a serrated brick-red band down each side linking the spandrels containing similar motifs to the field, in an ivory border of meandering palmette vine between light blue floral meander, chequered, reciprocal skittle-pattern and minor stripes, a chequered band and short kilim strip at each end, slight wear, particularly on crease lines
