A CARVED OAK LANTERN
DESIGNED BY SIR EDWIN LUTYENS FOR THE SALUTATION, SANDWICH, KENT IN 1911.
The top carved with a flaming torch above small roof supported on short columns, the lantern sides carved with laurel swags and volutes, the lower finial finely carved with acanthus leaves and hung with small wooden bells at each corner.
