Lot Essay

There is an old typed label attached to the backboard which reads 'Matthew Pryor has a pencil sketch of cottages at Beathwaite Green, Levens, Cumbria. It would seem that the drawing was done from lower down the lane but looking up the lane at the cottages in this water colour drawing'.
