With two-stage barrel struck at the octagonal breech with the mark of Michel Ponsin of Liège (Neue Støckel 8076), silver fore-sight, bevelled lock signed below the steel-spring, moulded figured walnut full stock, bevelled shaped side-plate and trigger-guard, spurred octagonal pommel with stepped cap, silver escutcheon, faceted ramrod-pipes, silver fore-end cap, and original silver-tipped ramrod
