With signed browned twist octagonal sighted barrels, case-hardened patent breeches each with platinum line and pierced platinum plug, enclosed actions with finely engraved top-straps inscribed 'Riviere Patent 237' and 'Riviere Patent 238' respectively, figured walnut half-stocks, engraved blued iron spur trigger-guards, blued iron fore-end caps and rear ramrod-pipes, silver barrel-bolt escutcheons, horn-tipped ramrods, and much original finiah: in original lined and fitted mahogany case with accessories including 'Fire-Proof' three-way flask, the lid with trade label, flush-fitting carrying handle, and circular escutcheon engraved with a crest
