With hand-rotated barrels each inlaid with silver and gold foliage (rubbed) at the muzzle and breech, gold spider fore-sights (one incomplete), shaped tang with applied engraved silver panel, gilt breech-block, iron action signed within a gold ribbon on top and engraved with foliage involving a musical trophy, all within borders of beadwork, trigger-guard in the French taste decorated en suite, chiselled cock, flat-sided walnut butt carved with a shell in relief, engraved silver butt-cap, silver escutcheon within an engraved silver oval, ramrod-pipes inlaid en suite with the barrels, and horn-tipped ramrod (iron parts pitted, butt and silver mounts replaced), London proof marks
