With signed slightly swamped rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrels, gold-lined touch-holes, engraved tangs, signed bevelled locks each with stepped tail and safety-catch, figured walnut full stocks, plain flat-sided butts, lightly engraved iron mounts including trigger-guards each with acorn finial of the first pattern, and horn-tipped ramrods: in contemporary relined and refitted mahogany case with accessories, the lid with flush-fitting carrying handle, London proof marks
