Late 18th/early 19th Century
Decorated in hiramakie on a gold mura-nashiji ground with an overall design of sasa-no-ha and scrolling foliage consisting of a kushidai containing a small cosmetic case, three tokigushi combs and three sukigushi combs, a box with two o-shiroi brushes, a watertray, a brush case with eighteen cosmetic brushes and three cosmetic boxes for beni, o-haguro and o-shiroi, futhermore a te-arai basin, and yutsugi ewer, a mimi-darai and stand, an o-haguro bako, a chawan with cover and stand, a kami-bako for o-suberakashi and two silver-metal e-kagami with a stand, the large handmirror signed Tsuda Satsuma kami ..ri, the smaller mirror signed Tsuda Satsuma kami kisshin.
