Of shaped triangular form, the cover set with a central bloodstone plaque, possibly later, with mother-of-pearl border, clouté and carved with foliage, scrolls and trelliswork, the bombé mother-of-pearl base with similar decoration, the mounts chased and engraved with a swan, a dog, ducks and a rabbit between trelliswork and foliage, apparently unmarked
