Shaped-oval and on four shell and scroll feet, the sides pierced with scrolls and latticework and with applied cast shell, foliage and mask border, the swing handle cast and chased with serpent masks, scrolls, shells and shaped cartouche engraved with a crest, base with a coat-of-arms a rococo cartouche and drapery mantling, marked on underside, the handle apparently unmarked
