Perrois (1985, p.190, no.8) illustrates a similar reliquary figure from the Josef Müller collection (now in the Musée Barbier Müller, Geneva) which was acquired in 1933 from Antony Moris[sic]. He attributes it to the Obamba/Mindumu, category III, variation I, probably from the Sébé valley of the Upper Ogowe. The Chaffins (1980) group this form as Type 5 or 6
