The frosted silver dial signed ULYSSE NARDIN. LOCLE. SUISSE and numbered (filled in red) 5472, Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down dials, black finish hands, gilt satin finish frames, the top-plate embossed with the Ulysse Nardin logo and numbered 5472, Earnshaw escapement, cut bimetallic balance with four small heat compensation weights, bright polished steel helical balance spring, Ulysse Nardin strip steel detent with jewelled locking stone to side of banking block, the fourth wheel arbor fitted with 'one second make/break' wheel operating pivoted electric contact, jewelled detent, brass bowl, gimballed in two-tier mahogany box with glazed top and plaque inscribed ULYSSE NARDIN Le LOCLE (SUISSE) and another inscribed 5472 and external drop handles
